Blister inspection
Task
When filling tablet blister packs, unfilled spaces or spaces filled with fragments occur repeatedly. With faults like this, packaging cannot be continued, but due to the narrow tolerances they cannot be identified using scales. For this reason, machine vision systems have been used for filling inspection for years. Implementation The black & white CV-300 system can monitor tablets in Al base film with reflected light and tablets or capsules with transmitted light using a camera. With upgrades, the integrated format-specific software shift register and, where required, the inputs for ejection counter-checking are used. The system has an easy-to-use operator interface, which machine personnel can quickly get to grips with. Because it is sold all over the world, all common languages are available. The unit comes complete with light shield and camera housing made of materials approved for use with pharmaceuticals. Customer benefits The optical inspection means that no partial filled blister packs make it into shops. The CV-300 gives the customer the confidence that comes from using a system that is trusted by well-known machine manufacturers such as Uhlmann Pac Systeme and Bosch Packaging Machinery. |
