Task
When filling and labelling cosmetic cream pots, the batch number needs to be verified. However, the label can be rotated in any direction.

Implementation
The rotational adjustment with a required cycle time of 600 ms is best achieved with the CV-600 machine vision system. The character set and the specified string can easily be taught-in by the operator. Because only a limited space is available for the camera and illumination, a camera with compact dimensions and a low focal length lens are chosen.

Customer benefits
The application implemented ensures that the pots are assigned to the correct batch. The machine vision system can easily be adapted for other fonts and to check different character strings.
