Repair Request

Prompt handling of your enquiry

To enable us to identify faulty components quickly and accurately, we require a fully completed RMA form for every item returned. This ensures that your repair request can be processed promptly and that all relevant information is immediately available.

Please download the form, fill it in completely and enclose a printout of the consignment.

1. Download and complete the RMA form

Please download the RMA form and complete it as fully as possible. In addition to your contact details, please provide information about the component and a brief description of the fault or problem.

2. Print out the form and enclose it with the parcel

Please print out the completed form and enclose it with the faulty component. Then send the component to the OCTUM address given on the form.

3. Goods received at OCTUM

Once we have received your parcel, our support team will inspect the component and create a repair order. You will receive confirmation of receipt of the goods, along with the relevant order number. Please always quote this order number if you have any queries.

4. Examination and assessment

The component you have sent in will be inspected. We will then determine what action is required and provide an initial estimate of the likely scope of repairs and the potential costs.

5. Quotation or alternative offer

The information from the inspection will be passed on to our sales team. You will then receive a quote for the repair or, if more appropriate, an alternative replacement offer.

6. Order placed by the customer

Once you have received the quote or replacement offer, please send us your order. Only then will we proceed with processing your order, carrying out the repair or arranging a replacement delivery.
